It's much more than that. Our signature gold bar has a distinct biscuity, baked fudgy flavour, with a subtle caramel note. There are other keto chocolate brands which do caramel flavour, and they only added caramel flavouring, or worse, pure caramel made from added sugar. (Erythritol cannot caramelise. The caramelisation in our gold bar, comes from the only 6g natural sugar in the milk powder for one bar.)
If you have tasted our gold bar, and others, you would be able to tell the difference in the taste and colour. Our gold bar has a distingusiable biscuity fudgy flavour, and a much more intense natural golden hue. Not even a single drop of colouring is used in this gold chocolate bar. The colour is created by heating up our in-house white chocolate at high temperature, and constantly stirring it by hand so it won't get burned, which is a very labour-intensive process. Any distraction might lead to the chocolate being burned within a minute.
Because of this extra step, it makes all the difference in its taste and colour.
Only 6g net carbs per bar. (Net carbs means total amount of carbs minus the amount of fibres and polylols/sweeteners.) The only 6g sugar it has, comes from the natural sugar in milk powder, in order to retain its milky flavour.
It has 85% less sugar and 16% less calories, when compared to a typical white chocoalte bar in the market.
You won't find any difference in taste nor texture when taking a bite of our gold chocolate bar. You might, however, find an odd cooling sensation on your throat, especially when you take more than a few bites in a row. This is completely normal as the sweetener is trying to dissolve on your tongue, hence the odd sensation. Some people are more sensitive to this sensation whereas others might never notice it.
As the body cannot digest the sweetener, our gold chocolate bar has 16% less calories, when compared to a typical white chocolate bar in the market. Because of this, it is not recommended to have more than 2 bars a day for an adult that weighs 60kg, as excessive consumption can lead to gastric discomfort.
